Homemaking Services
Homemaking/cleaning services include light indoor housekeeping tasks for the specified client, not the entire household. These are services that help a person manage general cleaning and household activities. There are three homemaker services:
- Homemaker/cleaning
- Homemaker/home management
- Homemaker/assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Covered Services
An individual can receive any of the three types of homemaker services. All homemaker providers may monitor an individual’s well-being while in the home, including safety. Homemaker/Cleaning services include light housekeeping tasks. Homemaker/cleaning providers deliver home cleaning and laundry services. Homemaker/home management providers deliver home cleaning services and, while onsite, provide assistance with home management activities as needed. Home management activities may include assistance with:
Arranging for transportation
Laundry
Meal preparation
Shopping for food, clothing, and household supplies
Simple household repairs
Homemaker/assistance with ADLs providers deliver cleaning services and, while onsite, provide assistance with ADLs as needed. Assistance with ADLs includes assistance with the following:
Ambulation
Bathing
Dressing
Eating
Grooming
Toileting

Our cleaning services include light housekeeping such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, laundry assistance, and bathroom tidying. These services are tailored based on your daily routines and comfort.
Can I get help with managing my household tasks beyond cleaning?
Yes. Through our Homemaker/Home Management service, we assist with budgeting, scheduling appointments, managing groceries, organizing, and basic planning tasks to support independent living.
Do you provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs)?
Yes, we offer compassionate support with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and reminders for medications. These services are provided respectfully to empower your independence.
